Wow!!! This place is amazing! This has to be some of the best BBQ I have ever had in my life. I got the chipped brisket sandwich, some of the best baked beans in my life with some apple crumble. WOW! Delicious to say the least, I also got two wings as well since they were the special of the day, the dry rub on them was amazing. The employees were so nice and helpful for this first timer. If you are in the area this has to be on your bucket list. Trust me this place will not disappoint.

Nicest, personable waitress I've ever met. She knew what she was doing and she was FUNNY. I hope the owners do what they need to, to keep her on staff. Excellent BBQ with a distinctive smokey flavor and real, fresh-cut fries. Beautiful, comfortable bar stools and round table. Fair prices. If I lived in the area, I'd be here all the time.

Food was great they have deal like all you can eat rib and sides on Monday . The brisket rib platter was nice and JUICY . So were the ribs. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich which was great prices are reasonable. Friendly staff only thing I didn't care for is the potato salad too much pepper? I'm not sure.. Didn't take away from overall satisfaction

It had been over 20 years since I had eaten here. Came back to town for a visit and made this a MUST stop. It did not disappoint! Same great food and atmosphere. If you haven't been here, you need to. Great Texas barbecue in the heart of KY!! Tried the ribs, green beans, and baked beans. Excellent! Also topped it off with a chocolate meringue pie! Delicious!

Jucy’s Smokehouse BBQ is the real deal! From the moment I walked in, the ladies behind the counter were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my first visit an easy and enjoyable experience. The food? Absolutely fantastic. The sides are classic, old-school Southern style—just like you’d find in a small-town Alabama kitchen. The green beans were perfectly seasoned, the mac & cheese was rich and creamy, the cornbread was spot-on, and the BBQ itself was just as impressive as everything else on the plate. No frills, just great food and even better service. My only regret? Waiting so long to try what might just be the best BBQ in Louisville! If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go.

inviting and decorated, staff pleasant and helpful. order and receive food thru line and pay at the end. i opted for brisket and sausage plate that comes with two sides. link sausage had a peppery kick to it. otherwise, both meets were satisfying. i opted for tators, which tasted like red potatoes made breakfast style, i liked them, they were seasoned well and were addicting. coleslaw was okay. ample amount of food for the cost. i got a sweet tea and the apple cobbler. the apple cobbler was divine. omg. definitely on my best favorite list. cons: i didn’t care for the bbq sauce and wish they had a few to choose from. we had very pleasant dining experience. and satisfying meal. well worth the trip. customers from all walks of live enjoying a meal in the simple bbq themed dining room. did i say the staff was great too. May 2025: It’s been a few years since our last visit here. We arrived for early lunch on a Saturday. The decor, interior and dining room are the same. Food, service and staff were all great as before. Opted for Brisket lunch special, which was so delicious it didn’t need much sauce. Got the brisket with cole slaw and potato salad. Both complimented the Brisket. Had sweet tea and Apple Cobbler for dessert. Definitely recommend and worth the drive.

Excellent smoked meats and sides. Reasonable prices and friendly family service. There were three of us and we have a variety of options and everyone of us enjoyed the meal. Try the smoked devils eggs too. If you like barbecue this place is for you. Plenty of seating options from booths to tables in an unassuming atmosphere.
